Even though this is a dream, I really do hope this inspires you and makes you think. I just had this dream, woke up and immediately said I had to post it! personally know God is real and He does amazing things.
The dream begins like this:
Myself and my friends; Trevor, Robinah, Tiffany and AJ are in KFC just chilling and eating, in Japan (random). The tsunami is still about and tense, but where we were the effects wasn’t serious. We are just chilling and eating then all of a sudden water just starts gushing onto the streets like nothing and at this point we are on the 2nd floor (this KFC is serious, it had like 7 floors), thinking it won’t reach that high, just sitting there amazed at the sight but not paying much mind!
I go upstairs to like the 7th floor because the boss is there and his daughter and I know them well. All of a sudden woosh, the water has risen! All the way to the 6th floor and I’m like ‘omdzzz all my friends, they must be in danger!!’ And the boss was like don’t go down there, it is dangerous!! So I’m there scared for my friends and wondering whether they are alright! The daughter then says we should go to the time capsule in the basement and the father says we won’t make it, we should just stay put!
We are all scared and not sure what to do! So we decide to rush and take the lift to the basement, but I’m all scared and like I have to get my friends! But he’s like Larry I’m sorry! I’m all crying etc, so we rush down the lift trying to be delicate because we don’t want the lift to crash. So in the basement, people are already there, (must have been connected with other shops across the street) and I’m bare emotional because I don’t know anyone and the people I know have died and somewhere in the flood!
So we try and live life like its golden, but I just can’t! I’m paranoid, angry, upset, in denial, resentful, everything!
So we are underground approximately a few days, but something in my spirit is telling me that there’s life outside this place! So I decide to write a letter individually to my friends to see whether they receive it and come to the capsule. But obviously how am I gonna get to a letter box?
Days must have turned into months because the water had disappeared and outside looked better but no one risked going outside mainly because they were still traumatised by the whole ordeal. I attempted to step outside but was too scared to send the letter.
So we just stayed underground for a long time!
The same day during music practice (lol) we get a knock on the door (which rarely happens) so in shock we look back and see Robinah, Tiffany, Trevor and AJ walk through. My initial reaction was tears, bang, then I ran towards them and we just disrupted the music lesson for about half an hour just crying and asking how!!! Robinah said it was that they were walking and she saw me walk outside the building and she knew we were there and came in.
My main question was “how did you survive??” And they gave us an illustration of how they were floating on the water and once they reached an end and the water was dying down, the manager (who was with them from the beginning) of KFC saw a plant which grew and provided them with basics nutrients for a while, and their love and strength kept them and the grace of God as well!
We were all still in shock, they looked rough but that was expected! So we just sat down and they just told us the story more in depth, and basically how it was just Gods protection and love that kept them together throughout the ordeal. So we ate and just sat together emotional about everything!
Even though I know it was a dream, to me it felt so vivid and so right now and current! I woke up actually emotional!
And just reminded me that we need to keep Japan in our hearts, prayers and hands! If possible we need to GIVE actively to them, but obviously not everyone can. But there is power in prayer and we should pray for them as well!
All this debate about whether God will save or not is rubbish! If you believe God will provide, He will…. Basically what this dream was about, and I felt I had to share it with you!
:) hope this makes you smile!
