Ellie Goulding- Grey Goose Rising Icons

Ellie has recently had a fantastic year in the UK and USA, and has now been recognised as a rising icon.

In this intimate performance she performs her most popular songs Guns & Horses and Starry Eyed.

This is such an amazing showcase of her talent; drawn back music with just the acoustic guitar and her voice! Its performances like these that I love the most because you can see the artist zone out into their own world and feel at one with their song. Look at how she pauses and has her own moments but yet still drawns in her audience.

The Brits tonight was a madness of a show!!

With winners from the obvious to the unknown, possibly underrated!

Performances ranging from Take That to Rihanna and Cee-lo Green! All amazing in their own way!

Deserved winners from Tinie Tempah and Arcade Fire (I don’t know who they are but I might have to get to know if they are winning 2 awards….Really?!) Kings of Leon should have grabbed something to be honest!!!

Jessie J picking up the Critics Choice…. she has an amazing future ahead of her, she is genuinely amazing!!! Getting her album as soon as possible!

Plan B announced he will be back with another album going back to his roots, real hip hop/grime….. Made my evening!!

However, there was a surprise….Ellie Goulding did not receive any awards, despite the fact she was nominated for 2 prestigious awards, sadly her night wasn’t tonight!! Tinie stole it!! :O

Mumford & Sons won the top award for Album of the Year…. but when I listened to their album I felt….. nothing! Maybe I’ll give it another listen!

On a whole, The Brits tonight was very good!! Good mix and opened my eyes to more artists that I may have crossed over! :D
