Shakka- Thinking About You (Frank Ocean original)

Shakka is a fresh faced and sound R&b/Soul singer from London making his move into the music industry this year. Every now and again he puts out youtube covers of songs out today.

This cover is like nothing I have ever seen or heard before!

The whole song is acapella; no music, no instruments just his vocals. His voice is so solid and strong with such a distinctive tone that you can’t help but to captivated and forced to listen to it!

He switches up the lyrics and puts in his ShakkaSkat to give it his own extra twist!

For a new artist Frank is doing remarkable things, with his music, his videos and his artistic work.

This video here shows great potential in what Frank can do, with his acting skills, his vision and his unique understanding.

This is Franks debut video as a solo artist, with possibly his best single on his debut mixtape.

The video is weird, simple, unique yet artistic! I thought the video would tell the story of song, but that would be too graphic for tv! ;) 

However, he does still portray the effects of drugs in the video; the physical and psychological effects! 

Awesome start to an amazing artist!

Frank Ocean of Odd Future.

It’s dreary and grey in London town today. When I need a pick-me-up and I feel like I’ve tried everything, I always turn to my piano or guitar for last-resort solace. I’ve been playing piano since I were about seven years old, and whilst I’m no longer classically trained, I try to keep my fingers accustomed to the keys.

I’ve been really into Odd Future and Frank Ocean at the moment, and today I thought I’d give We All Try a go. This cover was influenced by a video I watched on YouTube (which first introduced me to Frank Ocean) - you can watch it here.
