Hot Album of the Day
Keke Wyatt- Unbelievable
If you want pure R&B, ballads, love songs, 90s vibes, Keke is the girl for you! Even before this album Keke brought her fans authentic R&B/Soul music from tracks such as Who Knew, Peace On Earth and Without You, so on this album I’m sure she knew to bring that and more. I’m sure she decided to make her album pure R&B yet still appealing to the masses because she produced songs that were approachable to anyone who loved R&B not just her , with covers such as Saturday Love featuring Ruben Studdard, Tears In Heaven and His Eye Is On The Sparrow which she gave her unique spin of her enormous elegant range, unique tone and convincing emotion.
Personally, I think that Keke is one of the most underrated female singers out in the industry right now! She can sing amazingly well on records and in live performances; which she has displayed on The Mo’Nique Show twice singing Who Knew and Saturday Love! Her voice is what R&B is missing out on right now and this album just gives every listener just that!
You can tell she wrote a lot of her album because what she writes reflects her personal life, with her new marriage, new child and new found happiness with her family, and with this she allows herself to display authentic emotion in the songs, which a lot of today’s artists fail to produce! Songs like Light Me Up talk about her new partner and how her life has changed from her previous relationship. As well as Love Under New Management showing how her new relationship has changed her life for the better with the experiences she has been through. As well as writing personal songs Keke also writes songs to empower women such as Enough, and also about relationships like Travel The World and Miss Your Plane, which women need more of today!
She also chose a good number of artists to feature on the album to boost the popularity as well as produce awesome tracks, with Tweet and Kelly Price featuring in Mirror talking about self appreciation and growth.
This is a good start to get Keke into the mainstream and allowing her voice to be heard among the masses because she has awesome talent that needs to be seen and heard everywhere!
Here is the first single of the album! Awesome cover! If you love R&B support Keke!
